Short Shifter

The most wanted effect of a short shifter is to reduce the distance you need to move to engage between gears, thus reducing the time used on shifting by decreasing time between shifts will increase your response time and overall performance. A Public misleading in the tuning market is that a short shifter is just a chopped off version of the stock shifter. In reality, A chopped shifter make no difference on the angle that your shifter shaft moves through between gears and therefore does not shorten the shifter's throw.
