Q: What material is your body kits made from?
A: The majority of the body kits we distribute are made from high quality (FRP) Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic. However we do offer parts in ABS, Carbon Fiber & Poly Urethane.
Q: How does your finance work?
A: You will have to click on link. Next you will have three options to apply for choose the one that will fit you the best and like with any credit card the bank will do a credit check and depending on how good your credit is that is how much you will get on your credit card. After receiving the credit card you can use that to pay for your parts and pay a monthly payment on it.
Q: Can I mix and match styles when choosing a body kit?
A: Yes, you can mix and match any style body kit of your liking and still get a discount for ordering a full body kit.
Q: Do they come in a pair? Or is this price only for one side?
A: Yes. All Side Skirts, Mirrors, Fenders, Rear Fenders, Head Lights, Tail Lights, Bulbs, HID’s come as a set (pair)
Q: Is there any warranty on your parts?
A: Yes and no, since we distribute for so many manufactures some do offer a limited manufacture warranty that will cover against any type of defect on the item and some manufactures do not offer any type of warranty or return. If there is a dispute on a product that you purchased from Ilovebodykits.com please contact one of our sales representative and the dispute will be handled on a case by case process.
Q: Does your parts come painted?
A: No. Body Kits, Fenders, Side Skirts, Bumpers, Hoods, Trunks, Doors, Hatches, Canards, Splitters, Diffusers do not come painted for many reasons. There is to much liability for us to have a part painted, parts are very hard to color match without having the actual vehicle at the paint booth at the time of paint and if painted parts arrive to you chipped or cracked we are held liable for that.
Q: Does your parts come ready to paint?
A: No. All cosmetic aftermarket parts (Bumper, Fenders, Hood, Side Skirts, Trunks, Hatches & Doors) need to be prepped prior to being painted. Prep work involves sanding, wet sanding, bondo (body filler) & primer.
Q: On your body kits are they pre drilled?
A: Depending on the manufacture you choose when ordering your body kit it will either come pre drilled or not. Ask your sales representative for more information about this.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: We do allow returns. Customer must contact Ilovebodykits.com within 3-5 business days of receiving parts. There will be a 30% restocking fee on parts and customers must pay shipping back and shipping is non refundable.
Q: Can you price match?
A: Yes, Ilovebodykits.com does price match.
Q: Do you allow local pick up?
A: Yes, if you like to come by our office to pick up that is ok with us. There is no pick up fee but we will charge you CA sales tax.
Q: Do you have stickers you can send out?
A: At the moment no but we are working on that.
Q: If something is not on your site can you still get it for me?
A: Yes we can always special order items from other manufactures to fit your needs.
Q: How long does it take to ship out my parts?
A: If item is in stock the parts will ship within 3-5 business days and take 5-7 business days to arrive to you after it has been shipped out.
Q: If an item is on back order how long will it take to ship out?
A: If something is on back order the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) depends on the manufacture on when there shipment will arrive to there location. The ETA can be from 30-60 days but you can always change your order or request a full refund if you do not wish to wait.
Q: I sent an email the other day. Why hasn’t anyone replied back?
A: Due to the large amount of E-mails we receive each day we might not be able to respond immediately but we do our best to reply to each one and give each E-mail the attention that it deserves. If you are sending an E-mail during the weekend we are closed as we only open Monday through Friday so we will reply to your E-mail during normal business hours.
Q: Do you offer Cash on Delivery (C.O.D) ?
A: No. All parts must be paid for in full before we can ship out.
Q: The parts you sent me do not look exactly like what is pictured on your website?
A: All the vehicles that we use on our site are all custom show cars. Due to a variety of custom modifications done to them the results may differ from the pictures. Pictures on Ilovebodykits.com are for illustration purposes only. Generally speaking the core style is the same.
Q: How do I set up a wholesale account?
A: Call us at (909) 467-KITS (5487) and ask one of our sales representative to fax or E-mail you over an application form. After receiving the application fill it out and fax back to us with your business license.
Q: Why is shipping so expensive on body kits?
A: We ship everything through freight carriers. Companies like UPS or Fed EX will not pick up a box of this size. This is why the shipping rate is higher than your standard shipping through UPS or Fed EX.
Q: Do you offer express shipping?
A: Majority of the time no, for most part since all our shipping for body kits, hoods, trunks, hatches are done by freight we do not provide express shipping because it is too expensive. If this is for a smaller item and you need the product immediately and do not mind paying the extra shipping expense we can setup a faster shipping time upon request.
Q: I got my order and I signed for the product, but now I noticed there damages to it, can I return it?
A: If at the time you received the products no signs of damages were noted down on the delivery bill, the products cannot be returned. Once the package is received and signed as clear by you, our insurance with the shipping company is voided. You can however, make a claim with the shipping company directly.
Q: Do I need to remove the reinforcement bar?
A: The removal of the reinforcement bar may be necessary for the fitment of some aftermarket products. In some instances the reinforcement bar may only need to be trimmed down for fitment of the products.
