Toyota Mark Running Boards

If you’ve ever seen a parade where people are hanging onto cars from the outside throughout the parade route, you’ve noticed they’re often standing on a small ledge between the Toyota Mark wheels. Though not every vehicle has this, this platform is known as a Toyota Mark running board. Toyota Mark Running boards are quite commonplace amongst trucks, SUVs, and other oversized vehicles, but many vehicles can be adapted to use them.

This can be particularly helpful for those who rely on driving in a large vehicle, but have some passengers who can’t quite make the climb up into the inside of the vehicle. For vintage car restoration, installing Toyota Mark running boards is common, as they were very much a part of many vehicles from decades ago that sat higher up from the road surface.
