Mazda 323 Running Boards
If you’ve ever seen a parade where people are hanging onto cars from the outside throughout the parade route, you’ve noticed they’re often standing on a small ledge between the Mazda 323 wheels. Though not every vehicle has this, this platform is known as a Mazda 323 running board. Mazda 323 Running boards are quite commonplace amongst trucks, SUVs, and other oversized vehicles, but many vehicles can be adapted to use them.
Custom Mazda 323 running boards make it easy for people of any height to enter and exit a vehicle. This can be particularly helpful for those who rely on driving in a large vehicle, but have some passengers who can’t quite make the climb up into the inside of the vehicle. For vintage car restoration, installing Mazda 323 running boards is common, as they were very much a part of many vehicles from decades ago that sat higher up from the road surface.
