1971 Dodge Challenger Running Boards

1971 Dodge Challenger Running Boards

If you’ve ever seen a parade where people are hanging onto cars from the outside throughout the parade route, you’ve noticed they’re often standing on a small ledge between the 1971 Dodge Challenger wheels. Though not every vehicle has this, this platform is known as a 1971 Dodge Challenger running board. 1971 Dodge Challenger Running boards are quite commonplace amongst trucks, SUVs, and other oversized vehicles, but many vehicles can be adapted to use them.

Custom 1971 Dodge Challenger running boards make it easy for people of any height to enter and exit a vehicle. This can be particularly helpful for those who rely on driving in a large vehicle, but have some passengers who can’t quite make the climb up into the inside of the vehicle. For vintage car restoration, installing 1971 Dodge Challenger running boards is common, as they were very much a part of many vehicles from decades ago that sat higher up from the road surface.

I got my Drifter Cobalt kit about 2 weeks ago and I am almost done with the installation (by myself). The front and side fitted alrite w/ some trimming. The rear needed more work but it is expected from a fiberglass kit.
