Decals have been used on cars for decades in order to put a driver’s own personal prints on his or her vehicle. With a car decal, a driver simply picks out a design that he or she admires, selects a specific spot on a window or part of the car’s body to put the image on, and then applies the image by hand. Some drivers don’t like decals at all, while some just want one and others load their cars up with bunches of them.
If you can’t decide whether a decal is right for your car or not, consider some basic criteria. If you already customize your car in plenty of other ways, have a car with a wild paint job, or are just bored with the blended in look of your car, a decal is a good choice. If you want your Honda Civic or Ford Focus to look just like every other one on the road, skip the decal. There are plenty of decals out there to use though, so if you do find one you like, don’t hesitate to show it off on your vehicle.
