Windshield wipers are very simple parts with very big responsibilities. Rain may seem rather harmless when just walking around, but when driving 70mph down the interstate, what seemed like light rain suddenly becomes a lot more ferocious. Blurred or obstructed vision can be extremely hazardous, so drivers still using a car’s original windshield wiper blades may find that the stock ones aren’t doing enough anymore to push the rainwater aside.
Aftermarket windshield wipers are designed to keep windshields clear of water and as streak free as possible. Wiper blades are offered by several manufacturers, so simply pick a set out that you like. You may also want to pick up new washer fluid nozzles as well, as without them, it can be hard to clean your car’s windshield while driving in very hot, dry, and sandy areas.
