    The 1989 Pontiac Trans Am lower tie reduces the non-pivoting movement of the 1989 Pontiac Trans Am control arms and makes the subframe stiffer. This lessens the distortion of the 1989 Pontiac Trans Am lower suspension, which is useful during hard cornering. In general it, it improves the handling and control of the vehicle.
