    The Mercedes CL (W140) lower tie reduces the non-pivoting movement of the Mercedes CL (W140) control arms and makes the subframe stiffer. This lessens the distortion of the Mercedes CL (W140) lower suspension, which is useful during hard cornering. In general it, it improves the handling and control of the vehicle.
