    The Ford Probe lower tie reduces the non-pivoting movement of the Ford Probe control arms and makes the subframe stiffer. This lessens the distortion of the Ford Probe lower suspension, which is useful during hard cornering. In general it, it improves the handling and control of the vehicle.
