    The Ford Freestar lower tie reduces the non-pivoting movement of the Ford Freestar control arms and makes the subframe stiffer. This lessens the distortion of the Ford Freestar lower suspension, which is useful during hard cornering. In general it, it improves the handling and control of the vehicle.
