GMC Topkick Lowering Springs are designed to improve handling performance and the vehicle appearance, the custom GMC Topkick spring rates are stiffer compare to the most of the factory springs. Installing the GMC Topkick lower spring will enhance corner grip and reducing body roll. While you buy a set of lowering kit, it is suggested to replace your OE shocks all together. The stock or aftermarket GMC OE replacement strut are not designed to take the stiffer GMC Topkick lowering kits. Once the shock went out, you might experience car hopping and lose road traction.
