Scion FRS Hoods/Trunks

Scion FRS Custom Hoods, Scion FRS Custom Trunks

Scion FRS Carbon Fiber Hoods are located at the front of all Scion trucks, Scion SUVs, and Scion cars, and make up a large portion of your vehicle’s Scion front-end exterior. The primary function of a Scion hood on any vehicle is to protect the Scion engine and other critical parts in the front compartment from being damaged by heavy rain and other phenomena. Even when bent, bruised, and damaged, Scion FRS hoods can still do a fairly decent job of keeping out water and other elements. It’s the poor appearance part in the end that causes many people to end up replacing a broken Scion hood.

Aftermarket Scion FRS hoods help make a car look newer. Just this one replacement can make a big difference in a car’s appearance, mainly because it’s such a large component in and of itself. You can replace a Scion FRS hood with one that’s an exact copy of the vehicle’s stock Scion hood, or you can select a customized Scion hood that falls in line with a new design you had in mind for your Scion car. Either way, you’ll end up with a Scion car that’s better looking, with an engine that’s better protected from anything that might damage it

Scion FRS Carbon Fiber Trunks are located at the back of most Scion trucks, Scion SUVs, and Scion cars, and act as the main storage spaces for these vehicles. For Scion truck owners, the Scion trunk is mostly an open bed that is left uncovered. For Scion drivers of cars and SUVs, however, the Scion trunk is often a distinct space reserved for the transportation of luggage, groceries, and all kinds of other odds and ends.

Though you can’t replace the Scion trunk space itself, you can replace the Scion rear trunk hatch that keep that keeps the trunk space enclosed. Also often known as a Scion FRS hatch, this piece is as replaceable as the Scion FRS front hood is, though it is replaced far less commonly. If your car got rear-ended, or even if it’s just bruised up a bit to the point where paint alone can’t make a difference, you may want to replace that trunk hatch or Scion FRS hood with an aftermarket version that looks cleaner and newer to help maintain the value of your Scion vehicle.

The quality of the kit is decent, however, it is not as flexible as it advertised. Thanks ILB

I would have rated these a 5 if it were not for the fact that they needed some additional sealant around the lens. Luckily I had some left over rubber sealant lying around - I'd read about and experienced this before with my other aftermarket lights. Overall I am very satisfied with the product and the customer service. I was notified of a short backorder (about a week) shortly after placing my order, which happens from time to time. Wes kept me updated and called me as soon as the item left. Great guys to deal with!
